Motel 6 Troutville, VA

This motel 6 was better than most as far as updates. It was clean and somewhat easy to get to except the road craters. We stayed there after driving 12hrs

Very low water pressure. Overall, it was good for the night. Very quiet, the location is awesome. You have semi truck parking available too. There are restaurants within walking distance.

My husband and I stayed here for a couple nights, and we have no complaints. Office staff was very friendly and rooms are very clean.

I have a 4 legged friend who loves to stay at a pet friendly motel. So about 12 nights a year we are staying at a Motel 6. Unfortunately most of them are lacking in appearance, cleanliness or amenities. But this Troutville Motel 6 is unbelievable. Not a single dust bunny on the floor. Refrigerator working and clean. Microwave TV. A bench lounge table with table. Instantaneous heat. Everything looked brand new. The curtains were elegant and closed properly. The bathroom was fresh and clean. No water spots in the ceiling. No flaking paint. No loose boards or falling about furniture. I really don't think this place is real. It deserves much more than 5 stars.

Great quiet location, clean rooms, clean parking lot, friendly staff. New shower and comforter, comfortable beds... nice little area for dogs to potty. Great little diner, Angelle's, next door with good food and cold beer plus a dog friendly deck... 10% off your bill if you are staying at this motel. My only suggestion is to put some sort of shelf in the shower for a bar of soap... otherwise this was a perfect stop for us.

The staff was excellent. The room was clean upon arrival. We had enough towels and we were able to bring our dog along. The bed was comfy enough also. We stayed 5 nights.

If our country does ever allow socialism to take over, you should come here first to see what you're in for. The motel is a true model of efficiency, and if you are a through-trucker (or like minded, as I am) there is truly nothing to complain about; reasonable rate, very clean rooms, cold AC, comfortable bed, and a hot shower (put the shower on "cold" though, b/c the plumber apparently hooked it up backwards). However, don't look for more than your share, comrad! No pictures on the wall , no carpet on the floor, no view to look out at (unless you count that sign on Route 81?). Sort of a starter-pack for a life of depression.

This was definitely a nicer Motel 6. The clerk was a pleasant lady, and was nice enough to give me a room next to the dog walk area. It was nice to have a floor mat to wipe shoes on. The room was comfy, and the heater was quiet. You wouldn't have known it was close to an interstate, [81], if you didn't go outside. I'll be stopping again on my next trip through the area.
